up for a 5 day reserve auction is this beautiful 1971 ford mustang boss 351 let me start off by saying this is not Ur average mustang why well its a BOSS making it very rare and desirable and being a BOSS means its better in every way from the iconic boss 351 engine killer 4-speed top loader transmission distinct color scheme and loaded with tons of options its no wonder its called the BOSS cause when ur in it you feel like one…….she gets tons of looks any and everywhere she goes and get tons of complements and being it was so well taken care of and so rare its no wonder why because you don’t see them no more its just an awesome mustang through out the way it should be and it has tons of power it really gets up and goes and sounds beautiful now lets get to the details on this machine
engine/transmission
the 351 5.8 clevland HO boss motor in this fastback is great runs and drives exc has all the power it was meant to deliver and is believed to have only 46k orig miles yes you read that right was very well taken care of also the top loader 4-speed is exc shifts very smooth and is strong and healthy car is mechanically sound and of course all matching #
body/paint
the body and paint on this mustang is great through out body is very straight and solid only has rust under battery tray (as seen in pics below) no major dings or dents or bondo of any kind all orig body panels floors and trunk pans as well the paint is in great condition was repainted once in a newer later model mustang blue was originally (paint code 6) bright blue metallic now the quality of this paint job is amazing took 7 months of careful painting to the body of this boss and does show very well car looks amazing
interior
the interior in this mustang is exc through out no rips tears cracks fade or stains of any kind and being its all orig interior makes it all the great
from the orig seat coverings door panels dash carpet i mean everything is orig even the clock and stile works!!!!!
miscellaneous
the mustang is honestly a very great honest solid straight all matching numbers car again only major thing is it suffers from rust under battery tray do to battery acid (as seen in pics)
everything else is beautiful options are power steering’ disk brakes’ center console’ convenience group’ mach1 interior’ and much more as seen in the orig window sticker in (pics below)
yes orig window sticker comes with all orig manuals some service records orig spare jack tool kit even the orig red tire inflate bottle also all the glass is orig and in good shape for its age as well as the magnum 500 wheels comes with trophies winning 1st place in its class and pictures of the paint job process and when the motor was rebuilt at the same time motor was completely gone through and everything works and functions from all tachs lights and radio as well as the windows rolling up and down
