This COPO ’66 has undergone a meticulous Frame-Off Restoration and shortly afterwards, it became a 2017 NCRS Top Flight Award Winner! The previous owner liked to take this Chevy to car shows on beautiful days and it’s brought home dozens of trophies! A GM engineer originally special ordered this Corvette back in the 60’s and because of that, this ’66 never graced a dealership floor! Changes were specially made for this ’66 on the assembly line including the gorgeous Lynndale Blue Exterior Paint! This shimmering blue paint wasn’t a production paint color until the following year, making this Chevy even more unique! This Corvette is also sporting a Black Convertible Top, 15” Wheels with Original Hub Caps, Goldline Tires, Flip-Up Headlights, and Polished Bumpers, Trim, and Exhaust Tips! Underneath the hood sits a Numbers Matching GM 327ci V8 Engine with a 4-Barrel Carburetor that we believe to be original to this powerplant! The previous owner let us know that a 1/4 race cam was also added to this Corvette while it was on the assembly line! Power is sent to the the rear tires through a Muncie M21 4-Speed Manual Transmission and a Posi Rear end with 3.73:1 Gears! This transmission was also a special ordered change that was made to this ’66 during it’s factory build! Driving this Corvette is nothing short of a blast and you’re sure to turn heads wherever you go! This Chevy is also equipped with Power Steering and 4-Wheel Power Disc Brakes!
