I purchased this car in 1987 from the 2nd owner. From research we think it was sold new from Sycamore Chevy in Terre Haute, IN. Stayed in the area til I bought it when we still lived there. In 1999, I took it down to a bare shell and restored it. It’s first showing was at the 2000 Greenbay Cosworth Roundup. The engine was also one of the last ones I machined and assembled in my automotive machine shop before we closed and moved. I’ve had a great deal of fun enjoying it and meeting new friends with it along the way but it’s time to pass it along to the next new caretaker.

I’ve only put 6,000 miles on it since the restoration. Still holds its own at shows even after 18 years. Might even throw in all the trophies and plaques.
