I purchased this car in 1987 from the 2nd owner. From research we think it was sold new from Sycamore Chevy in Terre Haute, IN. Stayed in the area til I bought it when we still lived there. In 1999, I took it down to a bare shell and restored it. It’s first showing was at the 2000 Greenbay Cosworth Roundup. The engine was also one of the last ones I machined and assembled in my automotive machine shop before we closed and moved. I’ve had a great deal of fun enjoying it and meeting new friends with it along the way but it’s time to pass it along to the next new caretaker.
