Offered for sale is a beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible.  This vehicle features the small block 327 mated to a 4 speed manual transmission with side exhaust.  This Corvette was recently pulled out of 17 year storage, and was owned by the previous owner since 1992.  It has been mechanically checked over and received a new starter, a rebuild of the Holley carburetor, brake system completely gone through, and the fuel tank was removed, cleaned and sealed.  The Corvette runs great with no leaks.  Tires show good tread but flat spots from sitting are apparent when driving.  The vehicle was repainted red at some point, the original code being 980 Trophy Blue.  The paint cleaned up well but does show a few blemishes, most notably a gouge on the left headlamp door and another on the rear panel.  The left front bumper has some pitting in the chrome, the rest of the trim is in nice condition.  The headlamp doors were converted to electric with a small switch under the headlamp switch on dash and work as they should.  Previous owner had installed aftermarket speakers which are not present, stock radio is in dash and has been tested, does function.  The gauges are in working order with the exception of the odometer, it shows 2 miles and does not move when driving.  Speedo and tach are in working order.  The black interior is in great shape, seats are soft with no damage.  Convertible top is white, does not appear to be original and shows minor wear but is in nice shape.  Underside of the vehicle is clean and in great condition.  This is a fantastic car to get in and cruise with no worries, it runs strong, sounds and looks great!  If I were to hold on to the car I wouldn’t do anything to it but drive it, but it wouldn’t take much to bring this car to the next level if the future owner decided to.  Please contact with any questions, I have done my best to accurately describe the vehicle but will respond to any questions as quickly as possible.  The vehicle is available to inspect 8-5 Monday-Friday or weekends by appointment.  The vehicle is being sold as is where is, no warranty.  Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.  A deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction close.  The balance of the purchase price is due within 7 days of auction close.  Acceptable payment methods are cash or cashiers check.  Any check must clear bank before title and vehicle will be released.
