Unfortunately the gentleman who owned it worked in the towers and did not survive this horrible incident. It was then held onto by his Father until about 2008/09 and bought and cared for by an enthusiast who eventually traded the truck in for a more family practical vehicle. It then was purchased by unknown owner and I believe got repossessed. The truck eventually was purchased and went to a car enthusiast who was going to tear it apart and make a race car but did not want to ruin the car. That’s when I purchased it. The window sticker has a “September 11th” date from the owner before me who registered it and did not even know the story behind the previous 9/11 owner So I left the sticker on the truck. I’ve spent a lot of time and hours on this truck and brought it to a few car shows where it receives ALOT of attention without the story even being brought to attention. Multiple trophy winner.
