CONVERTED TO POWER DISC BRAKES WITH THE CORRECT DELCO POWER BOOSTER AND MASTER CYLINDER. PONTIACS GTO REVERTED BACK TO OPTION STATUS ON THE LEMANS IN 1972. I HAVE A FOLDER 2″ THICK WITH THE RECEIPTS FOR THE WORK DONE AND PARTS PURCHASED FOR THE CAR, ALSO LOTS OF PHOTOS OF THE CAR DURING THE RESTORATION. COMPLETE 4 + YEAR,  NUT AND BOLT RESTORATION. JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ON THIS CAR WAS DONE / RESTORED / REBUILT / RECHROMED / POLISHED / PAINTED OR DETAILED. THE SEAT COVERS AND SEAT BELTS ARE UNRESTORED ORIGINALS. BASE COAT / CLEAR COAT THAT LOOKS DEEP AND BEAUTIFUL. NOS FULL REAR QUARTERS, NOS FRONT FENDERS AND ENDURA NOSE.  THIS CAR CAME FROM THE FACTORY WITH THE SIDE “SPORT STRIPES”.   VERY RARE, OPTIOINAL “DUCK TAIL” SPOILER ADDED DURING THE RESTORATION. FACTORY CORRECT RAM AIR AIR CLEANER, NOS UNDERHOOD PAN AND NOS RUBBER BOOTS. LOTS OF NOS PARTS WENT INTO THIS CAR. I COLLECTED NOS PARTS FOR THIS CAR FOR A FEW YEARS BEFORE THE RESTORATION STARTED. IT HAS 1972 PONTIAC 455 HO, CODE WD, WITH THE CORRECT 7F6 ROUND PORT HEADS AND ROUND PORT EXHAUST MANIFOLDS, PONTIAC CLOSE RATIO M-22 “ROCK CRUSHER, MUNCIE 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION AND 3:73 12 BOLT SAF-T-TRACK REAR.  I ADDED MANY OPTIONS TO THE CAR DURING THE RESTORATION, SUCH AS THE HOOD TACH WITH THE CORRECT VENT TO THE TACH, RALLY CLOCK, PEDASTAL MOUNT 8 TRACK PLAYER, AM/FM STEREO RADIO, NOS DELCO REAR AIR SHOCKS, NOS REAR BUMPER GUARDS, NOS DOOR EDGE GUARDS, FACTORY TINTED GLASS, NOS REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER, FORMULA STEERING WHEEL, 15″ X 7” HONEYCOMD WHEELS WITH NOS TRIM RINGS AND CENTER CAPS, GOODYEAR POLYGLASS G-60-15 TIRES, NOS EXHAUST SPLITTER TIPS, NOS TRANSISTORIZED DISTRIBUTOR. THE CAR STARTS, TAKES THE HIGH IDLE, RUNS, SHIFTS, DRIVES, BRAKES AND WILL LAY RUBBER WITH EASE, JUST LIKE IT WAS 1972 AND YOU JUST PICKED UP YOUR GTO FROM THE DEALERSHIP. AGAIN EVERYTHING WAS DONE, AND DONE CORRECTLY ON THIS CAR, WITH MOSTLY NOS PONTIAC OR ORIGINAL PONTIAC PARTS. GARDNER ALUMINIZED EXHAUST SYSTEM, STAINLESS STEEL GAS TANK WITH ALL STAINLESS STEEL BRAKE AND FUEL LINES. CORRECT TOWER CLAMPS USED THROUGHOUT THE CAR.
