Beautiful 1970 VW Karmann Ghia. strong running rebuilt original 1600 single port, 4spd, never wrecked, original color. I bought this from an 82 yr. old that restored it and never drove it because he couldn’t get in/out. It was Restored 7-8 years ago and Only driven about 500 miles until this year, paint shines great, garage kept. Its a nice and clean classic. Gets more compliments than any vehicle I have ever driven. Runs great down the interstate 70-75mph no problem, factory disc brakes in the front. The clock and original radio still work. It still has the original AC system. I installed a rebuilt original style compressor, new dryer, expansion valve, cooling fan for the condenser. I resealed the under dash unit. I haven’t hooked the electrical up to it and haven’t tried to charge it. The vintage empi gt steering wheel pictured isn’t included, it has been sold. I have a complete brand new original steering wheel that Is installed in the last two pictures. The nose is clean without chips and has never been damaged. The doors, hood, engine lid all close nice and tight. The paint is base/clear. The body is straight without dent/dings and the paint is smooth. There is a bubble flaw in the paint shown down low on the lower driver side quarter panel. The dealer emblem is missing on the trunk. The chassis is solid. The passenger rear part of the floor has a previous repair shown in pictures. The carpet is new, seats door panels, headliner, visors look to have been replaced. The instrument panel and dash pad are original. Overall a cool classic that can be driven and taken to the car shows. I just washed it and took it to a show and received a second place trophy for the vw class.
