This spectacular Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet with a four-speed top loader is one of the finest examples in existence. This beautiful numbers matching specimen was commissioned for restoration to near perfection to its factory color combination by the previous owner in 2017 and 2018. As many of you enthusiasts know, the 428 Cobra Jet Mach 1 with a 4 speed was a rare engine and transmission combination coming from the factory as Ford only delivered 1,371 of them in 1970. This particular example was also delivered with a white hood scoop which is very rare as well. Of course, she has the Marti Report identifying how she was delivered to Anderson Ford in Kingsport Tennessee but she also comes with a rare build sheet spelling out all of her as-delivered configuration like the Lime Metallic Green paint and ivory stripes and color keyed racing sport mirrors, competition suspension and traction-lok differential.
Look anywhere on this four owner Mustang and you will see the attention to detail in the restoration, the door jambs are perfect, the engine compartment has all of the correct as-delivered stickers and equipment.
